Could he be any cuter???

I finally have a quilt!!!! I am so thrilled with it
I have always wanted a nice quilt for my bed, but
since I have a king size bed they always cost a kings
fortune. But not this time. I found a beautiful one on
clearance!!!!! Now I will just have to keep my eye
out for new curtains...since the ones I have don't go
at all. Maybe I'll look for a soft green.

Ok so the urge to craft has gotten the better of me this week, and I think I have a yo-yo addiction. These little "jingle dolls" are going to be at each of the kids place settings for Christmas dinner.

Madelyn and Robby had a Christmas program at school.
Robby was a wise man and Maddie was a star.

Decorating Christmas cookies!!!!
The kids had a lot of fun drizzling icing all over! Some made
it on the cookies, but it was fun anyway.
Ok for all you crafty people out there. Here is a garland I have been making for the tree.
It was really fun to make, and pretty simple too. Oh and by the way we got another tree.
The kids kept asking when we were going to get a real tree....not real as in live, but real as in
bigger than the "thing" on the piano. So we borrowed a small tree, about 3 feet, but compared
to the "thing" it is a BIG tree.

I thought I'd post this picture to let you see a glimpse of our Robby's personality. If I remember I think I posted another picture of him where he had a similar pose. Robby is always happy and full of energy...Although not as much as he had before since we have eliminated sugar from his diet! Robby has such a tender heart and is so loving always wanting to be close and snuggled. He is a gift from God and such a blessing!

BIRTHDAY GIRL!!!!
How blessed we have
been the last 5 years!
Maddie has brought us
so much joy!

Madelyn turned 5 this Deccember! I can hardly believe that we have a 5 year old. We had a small family party at the house.

Ok Sonya, here is the tree I was telling you about. Oh and the snowman in the corner.
I was looking through a book I have on Christmas decorations and they had all these
really beautiful tree's and I really want a huge
beautiful tree. It showed how how to make all
these beautiful decorations for the tree....some day I will have a huge tree. For now I will dream.
Although I should make a few ornimants a year
that way when I have my tree, I will have enough to fill it.

Friends of ours hosted our music ministry Christmas party this year. They had a beautiful tree!
They said it was a "small" tree compared to years past, I guess all is relative. They had a few bins of kid-friendly decorations that they left for the kids to put on the tree. It kept Robby busy for almost an hour! I was also able to snap a good picture of the kids, but that will come later in a Christmas card.

Here is Jack, he is getting so big. Our sweet boy is working on a tooth, although nothing seen as of yet. but he is on a hunger strike and chewing on EVERYTHING, and man the drool is endless.
But he's so cute, we can deal with the saint bernard phase of life!

Help I'm sitting and I can't lay down!!!
So our little Jack has mastered getting into the sitting position.
Sounds great, right? Well it is, except now when he is so tired
and just wants to go to sleep we lay him in his bed and 2 seconds
later he finds himself sitting up! The first few times he did it he thought
he was pretty cute, but now that he is totally worn out he can't seem
to figure out how to stop sitting and lay down!!!!

Here are some pictures of our day, or rather our 20 minutes , at the park. It was to windy and cold to stay any longer. But the kids had fun!

Here are the kid-o's all snug in thier jammies
and ready for bed. We had to pull out the heaters to stay warm. It is nice to be
a little chilly for a change.

We had a big event this week....do you see it yet? Look a little closer....yup there is an extra sparkle on our little girl this week. She got her ears pierced!!!! She was so brave. I had her sit on my lap and they were able to do both ears at the same time. (which was good for me...mama was more afraid that she was) She never even jumped or cried.
Troy said her facial expression didn't even change. The only thing she said to me when I asked her if she was all right, I was waiting for the delayed scream, but all she said was "that hurts".
She is thrilled with her earings and tells everyone, inluding the man who checks the ID at Sams Club that she has her ears pierced. My baby is growing up!

So I have decided that if I ever want to be in any pictures with my kids, that I will have to take them myself. Why is it that mom's are always the ones behind the camera. I must admit, it is more comfy behind the camera, but that just takes away the fun for our kids in 15 years when they look through the scrapbooks and can't make fun of mom's hair or clothes. We'll work on a better angle another day.

Bethany and her bangs....she hates having clips in her hair, but something had to be done!

Madhya & Robby had a Thanksgiving program this week.
It was the first school program of many I am sure we will be attending.
They were so cute in the Indian outfits they had made. Robby was terrified
the whole time he was on stage and tried pretty successfully to take cover behind
the kid in front of him. Madhya wasn't feeling 100% but did her best to sing her heart out.

So here is what I have been up to lately....that is besides the mounds of cleaning, laundry, diapers and cooking. I paint kids art work. I really enjoy painting when I have a spare
moment. Praying God will bless it and one day maybe it will be more than a hobby. This
canvas was ordered by a friend as a birthday gift (incase you were wondering who stephen was).

Bethany's vocabulary has exploded. She can say just about anything
she wants to, but is selective about who she will talk around. The other
day Robby was jumping out at the girls to try and scare them and Bethany
gave him an ear full. " Robert, you stop doing that right now!"

Robby keeps us on our toes. This picture
captures his charm. He loves to be silly.
It has been a big adjustment for him
in preschool but he is trying his best to
adjust to the structure that comes with school.
He would be happy just playing the day away...
but then who wouldn't?

We just celebrated Madelyn's first
birthday as a child of our King.
It is such a blessing to know that she
knows God as her personal Savior.
She has such a tender heart for others.
We thank God daily for her sweet
spirit.
So here is Jack.
He is getting ready to crawl.
I am sure it won't be long and
he will be off exploring every
nook and cherrio filled corner
of the house.
Is it wrong to want him to stay
a baby forever?
I thought it was about time to explore the world of "blogging" I have enjoyed viewing friends who have blogs and family as well so I thought I'd give it a try.
