This is a picture of me and my Papa. I love this picture for several reasons. The main one being that I love my Papa. I also like seeing that "hey maybe my kids do look a little like me" but most of all because I can see the love that my Papa has for me. I remember when I was a little girl crawling up on my parents bed and listening to my Papa reading the Bible. One time in particular I remember asking if I could have a turn to read and he smiled and said yes as he handed me his Bible. But I could not read it becasue it was in Greek...or was it Hebrew? I remember being in awe of him at that moment, he was reading to us in English! Another fond memory I have of my Papa was one morning when he came to wake me up and he was using my stuffed animals to put on a show and sing to me. My Papa can calm my heart just by speaking, even when I am not aware that I am all tied in knots. just hearing his soft voice is comfort. I have been so blessed to have a Papa that has been my visual of my Heavenly Father. Papa, I love you!

Madelyn and Bethany are very excited about Easter Sunday because then Mommy will let them were their dresses for more than just a photo shoot. Yes I know they are matching, but I couldn't resist!!!!

Robby was asked to play in his room till dinner time and I guess he needed a little more attention than I was giving him. Here he is, dancing around inside his pillow case!

Here it is, my new Ergo carrier.
Jack and I love it.
It is so comfy and easy to use.
The only thing I have to be careful
of is if he gets tired of looking around
and he's on my back he likes to pull
out my hair!
Otherwise he is a complete gentleman!

So I have discovered FELT and I love it!
This little guys was created in a spare moment during nap time.
He was so fun to make. I think that he, and his relatives will appear
in the kids easter baskets.

I have added some links, 2 are some crafting sites that I visit often. I must give a warning before sending you to them. These links are highly addictive. One could be lost for hours at
a time...SERIOUSLY....one crafting blog leads to another and another, and before you know
it the kids have taken every book off the book self and created a tower to reach the things on
the top shelf and the dog has eaten half of the crayons that have been thrown on the floor along with chewing through half the garbage. So don't say I didn't warn you!!! The other is my brothers blog you can see my cute nephew.
This song brings back memories from my childhood, not one specific memory, just a flood of smells, sounds and feelings. It amazes me how just the words to this song makes me want to smile, cry and laugh all at the same time. I have been planning my spring garden, oh yes I have grand plans this year. We will see how much of it comes to pass, with all the construction that will be starting on the house I need a good reason to get the kids out of the house. Spring has officially sprung so I had better get a move on!
I come to the garden alone,While the dew is still on the roses; And the voice I hear,Falling on my ear;The Son of God discloses.
And He walks with me,and He talks with me,And He tells me I am His own,And the joy we share as we tarry there,None other has ever known.
He speaks, and the sound of His voice Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,And the melody That He gave to me,Within my heart is ringing.
And He walks with me,and He talks with me,And He tells me I am His own,And the joy we share as we tarry there,None other has ever known.
I’d stay in the garden with Him Tho’ the night around me be falling,But He bids me go;Thru the voice of woe,His voice to me is calling.
And He walks with me,and He talks with me,And He tells me I am His own,And the joy we share as we tarry there,None other has ever known.

Our dear Skyler is shedding! I dare say this is the worst shedding so far. We love her to death, and are so glad that our husky (all huskies for that matter) only shed twice a year, but boy is it amazing how much hair she can lose. Yet she still has a beautiful full coat. Skyler is the sweetest dog. Her temperament with the kids is just amazing. She is will be 3 this summer, we got her when I was pregnant with Bethany....seems so long ago! P.S. time to recover the dining room chairs.
Here is a drawing of a Butterfly (on the right) done by Madelyn at age 4.
And on the left is my first attempt at stitching my children's art work.
I am not sure what I will do with it now...maybe the front of a tiny pillow
or make some more copies of all the kids work for a bigger pillow. I think
they will make a cute keepsake.
Sonya, have you tried this yet???
