This song brings back memories from my childhood, not one specific memory, just a flood of smells, sounds and feelings. It amazes me how just the words to this song makes me want to smile, cry and laugh all at the same time. I have been planning my spring garden, oh yes I have grand plans this year. We will see how much of it comes to pass, with all the construction that will be starting on the house I need a good reason to get the kids out of the house. Spring has officially sprung so I had better get a move on!
I come to the garden alone,While the dew is still on the roses; And the voice I hear,Falling on my ear;The Son of God discloses.
And He walks with me,and He talks with me,And He tells me I am His own,And the joy we share as we tarry there,None other has ever known.
He speaks, and the sound of His voice Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,And the melody That He gave to me,Within my heart is ringing.
And He walks with me,and He talks with me,And He tells me I am His own,And the joy we share as we tarry there,None other has ever known.
I’d stay in the garden with Him Tho’ the night around me be falling,But He bids me go;Thru the voice of woe,His voice to me is calling.
And He walks with me,and He talks with me,And He tells me I am His own,And the joy we share as we tarry there,None other has ever known.

I sang that to you almost nightly when you were little. I would sit down on the floor and pray and sing until all my little cherubs were sleeping. Sweet memories. Love you, Heidi. xoxoxo Mama
