Jack and his sweet cousin....he thinks she is just beautiful. We have enjoyed my sisters visit, it has been so wonderful to see her and the baby. I thought it would be 3 more years till we got to see them, so this has been a real blessing. They haven't left yet, but I miss her already.

Hi Heidi! It's been so much fun "leafing" through your blog! I feel like I've gotten to sit down with you and catch up on the past few years. Man, you are BUSY with those crafts, girl! We should get together because I've studied calligraphy under my artist mother-in-law and have done a few weddings & a certificate. It's fun and people pay a ton for fancy handwriting! :) But I'm so proud of all the stuff you do--your kids must LOVE living with you for a mom.
I'm just now getting back into a slower pace. After we moved to Pennsylvania (from Chicago) we were going at a frantic pace for three years. Our son Keston, who was four months when we moved here, just went wherever we did, and has been raised (literally) by the youth group. I always worked one or two part-time jobs and time just flew. But now, after having had our daughter Ella in June, I'm finally slowing down. I'll be teaching guitar only 3 hours a week, and volunteering for a few music "jobs" a week. But other than that...I have more time to think about what I want to do. I made a baby quilt for my best friend from college (yeah...I never did get the edges right...) and am working on my daughter's baby book. I'm doing it scrap-book style (without all the stickers--just hand drawn and written) just like her big brother's.
Anyway, it's great to see all these photos. Maybe I'll start a blog too? I don't know who would read it, but my parents and brother. :) But you'd be welcome to read it. We'll see.
Hope to read more from you soon!
Love, Kelli
